JCHS Title I Family Engagement Coordinator
Jones County High School is a School Wide Title I school.
Title I, Part a is a part of the Elementary and Secondary Education Act of 1965 (ESEA). This act provides federal funds through the Georgia Department of Education to local educational agencies (LEAs) and public schools with high percentages of poor children to help ensure that all children meet challenging State academic content and student academic achievement standards.
As defined by GaDOE's Accountability Waiver, Jones County High School is NOT a Focus, Priority, or Alert School nor is not in need of improvement according to Federal guidelines. Faculty Credentials and Certification
The Jones County School System is proud of the professional credentials of its teaching staff and will furnish to you, upon request, the professional qualifications of any of your child's classroom teachers. This includes information concerning the grade levels and subject areas in which the teacher is certified, the major fields and degrees held by the teacher, and the qualifications of any paraprofessional who provides services to your child.
